Bolders

Me mum and dad went to the boulders in huelgoat in Britanny in France. we went there to see the boulders and I took some pictures.I quite like them, I think I did really well.I started trying to climb the rocks but they were way to slippery.Dad had a bad leg and he didn't go on all the walks so mum said it was ruining his holiday , but dad had to put up with that and carry on.

Museums

We stayed in the village of Arromanches, Normandy and saw the remains of the floating harbor that transported goods, men and guns to the men that landed on D Day June sixth 1944 .We have been to many museums and I had a lot of fun going to them.We went to atleast six different museums. Mum didn't go to many museums because she really isn't the war museum tipe. So we went to the museums and mum stayed behind and took pictures.The Nazi artillery battery was a grait threat to the British troops landing on gold beach and Americans on
Omaha beach.the two mobile artillery pieces are American and Canadian they were used for the Allied invasion to to take back France.

Folk Festival !!!!!

I went to the folk festival at the weekend, and I also brought my friend with me.
We played for the first two days and he left, leaving me with mum & dad for the last night.The food was nice and I had buffalo super nachos.Me and Edmund also bought a pop gun and did stick ups it was very funny.
I also fell into the river and got soaked shorts, after that I met
the international banjo player called Abigail washburn, and I got her autograph.

ANDERSEN SHELTER

Do you like these pictures of World war 2. (WW2) andersen shelters. Andersen shelters protected people from bombs in WW2. I found a shelter in the grass and nettles. I discovered it in this old part of the village that seemed to be abandoned. The first time we went there we could not see the shelter, it was too camouflaged but i was determined to find it this time.

MY BBQ

Finally my birthday BBQ is coming up on 16th july 2011.
there is going to be a party and a velcro wall and child/adult sumo,
basically you are covered in blowup stuff wich makes you look like a fat sumo but not as tall.It is a early birthday my real one is on august 15th!!!!!!!!

My mum bought me this Richard Heeps print for my new room. It is an awesome picture that I found at an arts show and persuaded Richard Heeps to give us money off. I like it because its got a car and dust and its very big and its going to fill my room up a lot.

HARRY'S NEW BED ROCKS

Have you seen my new bed it's the best ever. The bed has a sofa that turns into a futon for friends to sleep over. It has a pull out desk and a hidden cupboard and other cool stuff.

Cake

Do you like my cake? I made this baked new york cheese cake my self, it was very hard to make it. I got the recipe from from the internet. I ate most of the mixture in the bole because it tasted so good. I still have to finish it though by putting on the sause.

BIRTHDAY DAD

He's lucky!!!!!! Ive never had a birthday that cool.I was the official photographer at my dad's birthday, the cakes were delicious.

Mean mummy

My mum is so mean she made me tug the trolly for such a long distance in the gardening centre, shes sooo mean to me.

The hall of mirrors

The hall of mirrors is very unique, I would not want to live in that hall I'd be looking at my self too much and it might be haunted.

Escargot

The snails in france were super dooper, they had the texture of squid and tasted like muscles. There I had the most amazing skate it was soft so it was easy to cut and still had the bone in the middle, photo taken by my muum.

The restaurant

The Pompidou centre is a famous art gallery, it contains lots of sculptures and paintings. When you go all the way to the top of the building, there is a restaurant. We had some drinks and a rest, we also admired the oddly shaped metal structures and the views of paris.

The Eiffel tower view

The view from the Eiffel tower was brilliant although it took half an hour to get up there, because of the line for the lift. The line was too long in the morning so we went in the evening.

The louvre

The Louvre is famous for it's paintings especially the Mona lisa, a picture painted by Leonardo de Vinci.It is a priceless piece of art. The picture below is by an unknown artist from the school of fontainebleau. I think it's rude but my mum says it's art, it is a very funny picture.

la posh bed

The king's bed at the palace of Versaille was all fancy pantsy and coverd with plastic sheeting.I don't think they had plastic on it in the 18th century. It looked like a shed from the outside. The King and Queen had similar looking beds but they never slept in the same bed.

Paris

The Eiffel tower was amazing! I've never been to Paris before. I had some super food
there, I had the second most tasty duck in the world, my dad is the best chef although the food in paris was brilliant.
